Family Planning Benefit

Fertility and adoption coverage

Fertility treatment and adoption can be great options for those looking to start a family, but they can also be complicated and expensive processes. Fortunately, our new Family Planning Benefit plan can help.

Our Personal Health Insurance Health and Dental plan is the first personal health plan in Canada to provide coverage for fertility drugs, fertility treatment and adoption.

What does the Family Planning Benefit cover?

The Family Planning Benefit covers $5,000 per family, per year for fertility drugs and $5,000 per family, per year for fertility treatment and adoption. Your Child or Children are covered for fertility drugs and fertility treatment if the child is going through a fertility related freezing procedure.
