As President and CEO of Pacific Blue Cross, Sarah leads the organization’s commitment to powering the health of businesses, employees and communities in BC and the Yukon. Under her leadership, Pacific Blue Cross continues to help people access the health benefits, services and supports they need, from dental care and physiotherapy to disability coverage and mental health supports. Through annual community investments and partnerships, Pacific Blue Cross supports organizations and programs that help address barriers to care and improve health and wellbeing in communities across BC and the Yukon.

An award-winning strategic leader, Sarah brings more than 20 years of experience across finance, administration and healthcare. She is recognized for fostering engaged, equitable and inclusive workplaces while leading meaningful change across complex organizations. In 2024, Sarah received a YWCA Women of Distinction Award in recognition of her commitment to advancing health equity and removing barriers to care. She also serves on the Accessible Employers President's Group Advisory Committee, reflecting her ongoing commitment to disability inclusion and accessible workplaces.

Pacific Blue Cross also congratulates Barry Rivelis, President of PBC Solutions, who was recognized on this year's BC500 list. PBC Solutions, a wholly owned subsidiary of PBC Health Benefits Society provides health benefits administration and related services to organizations across Canada. Under Barry's leadership, PBC Solutions continues to deliver innovative health and benefits solutions that help organizations navigate an increasingly complex benefits landscape.
