The 2018 BC CFO Awards, presented by the Chartered Professional Accountants of BC and Business in Vancouver, have honoured John Crawford with their first Lifetime Achievement Award. The CFO Awards recognize and celebrate the top Chief Financial Officers in the province.

John has shown exemplary leadership and considerable industry achievements during his 21-year career with Pacific Blue Cross, and was Chief Financial Officer prior to being named interim president and CEO in November 2017.

In 2015, John was honoured by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of British Columbia with its highest distinction – a fellowship (FCA) designation – in recognition of his outstanding contributions to the community and his profession.

In addition to his professional successes, John dedicates significant personal time to volunteering. Among the most notable is his role as Master Tally of the annual BC Children’s Miracle Network Telethon – a role which he has held for the past 30 years. He is also a past board member of Burnaby Family Life.
