We’re making it easier to submit counselling and psychology claims.

Starting June 1, 2026, you’ll be able to search and select from a list of validated providers — helping you confirm eligibility upfront and avoid delays.

Starting June 1, 2026, we’re enhancing how counselling and psychology claims are submitted through Member Profile.

When you submit a claim for these services, you’ll be able to search for and select your provider from a list of validated practitioners.

This builds on existing requirements that services must be provided by eligible, registered or licensed providers — and helps confirm eligibility earlier in the process.

What this means for you

These changes are designed to make submitting claims simpler and more reliable.

  • You can confirm your provider is eligible before submitting your claim
  • Fewer claims may be delayed due to missing or incorrect provider information
  • Submitting claims becomes more straightforward and consistent

How it works

When submitting your claim in Member Profile:

  • Search for your provider using the provider search tool
  • Select your provider from the list
  • Submit your claim as usual

If your provider isn’t listed

You can still submit your claim by entering your provider’s details.

  • Your claim will be reviewed by our team
  • If the provider is eligible, your claim will be processed
  • The provider will be added to the validated list for future use

What’s not changing

  • Your coverage, plan limits, and eligible benefits remain the same
  • Services must still be provided by a registered or licensed practitioner
  • Paper claims will continue to be reviewed and validated by our claims team
