New mobile app tools provide faster access to health care

Wednesday, Mar 4, 2020

Two new additions to the Pacific Blue Cross mobile app help you find a walk-in clinic near you (and even look up clinic wait times!) and speak to a pharmacist directly through the app. This is quality health care—at your fingertips.

Medimap lets you find a walk-in clinic near you (and even look up clinic wait times!) and PocketPills Pharmacy, which gives you the ability to speak to a pharmacist directly through the app. And, coming March 12th, we’ll be helping you speak to a virtual doctor through Babylon by TELUS Health

Best of all? These convenient tools are offered at no additional cost.

Find a walk-in clinic near you. Powered by Medimap, this service is a convenient resource that uses your location to connect you to walk-in clinics in your area. It can provide current wait times as well as the ability to remote check-in to some clinics so you can reserve your place in line before you arrive. This means no more calling or visiting multiple clinics trying to find a spot, and less time spent in the waiting room.

Speak to a pharmacist. Have a question about your medication but don’t have time to visit the pharmacy? Now you can chat with an online pharmacist directly through your Pacific Blue Cross Mobile App, powered by our Preferred Pharmacy Network.

Babylon by TELUS Health. Quality health care at your fingertips launching for Pacific Blue Cross Members on March 12th. More details coming soon.

We’re always looking for new and innovative ways to help you improve your health and wellbeing, while saving you time and money. If you haven’t downloaded the mobile app yet, now is the perfect time! Visit pac.bluecross.ca/mobile for details.
