Pacific Blue Cross partners with Pride at WorkMonday, May 17, 2021
The partnership represents another step in our commitment to enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion at Pacific Blue Cross
At Pacific Blue Cross, we’re committed to creating a safe and more inclusive organization—for us, diversity is much than just a word; it’s who we are as a company.
Unfortunately, we know that LGBTQIA2S+ people in Canada still face significant barriers to employment and advancement in the workplace.
May 17th is the International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia. To support this and the entire LGBTQIA2S+ community, it’s a great time to announce that we have entered a new and exciting partnership with Pride at Work Canada.
About Pride at Work Canada
Through dialogue, education, and thought leadership, Pride at Work Canada empowers employers to build workplaces that celebrate all employees regardless of gender expression, gender identity, and, sexual orientation. Pride at Work helps to create safer, more inclusive workspaces that realize the full potential of employees and bring down barriers to employment through their learning, networking, and community events.
Enhancing diversity, equity, and inclusion
Pacific Blue Cross is committed to diversity, equity, and inclusion. This new partnership is another step to ensure Pacific Blue Cross is an organization where every member, employee, provider, advisor, and vendor feels like they belong regardless of gender identity and sexual orientation.
The partnership will provide our team with access to Pride at Work’s comprehensive training programs, learning events, and recruiting services in our effort to enhance our representation of LGBTQIA2S+ people and demonstrate our commitment to this community.
